2000 cooper...

hey all you mini experts wanting a quick bit of advice.....was offered a 2000 mini cooper sports pack in blue and really fancy it for flying about for the summer....but its got 82k miles.....is this a problem for them? seems very clean and drives well!

82k is ok as long as its been looked after, you will probly find some components may need replacing so make sure you get it for the right money and save a bit of cash for a few new parts..neale..

Check the service history to see if it's been regularly maintained, oil topped up etc. If you're not planning to add too many miles to it and it's going for cheap (providing it's in good enough condition) then you will have a bargain on your hands.

Some of the components may need replacing but they are fairly cheap as long as it's nothing major.

Make sure it's got a long MoT as emisions can be a problem at those sort of miles due to valve guide wear and bore wear.
