MINI 850

My aunt aged 90 has a mini 850 in her garage 1975 it has not moved for 20 years. I has done 42000 miles. I needs new sill and respray as it has been handpainted in the past. dont know if it runs. Can anyone give me a rough idea how much to ask for it as I have no idea.

A 1000cc Mini with MOT (irrespective of age it would appear)is worth £900 Minimum going by todays Auto Trader prices. If the car needs sills, has no MOT and in reflection the 850 engine is the least desirable - It'll struggle to make even half that.

I'm sure someone would give you £150 - 200 for it - I would if it were closer. With the price of fuel and insurance the 850 will pick up a bit in popularity, especially with the youngsters

Just don't scrap it please - resto projects / spares vehicles are dissapearing fast, it won't be long before they are all gone which can only push up the price of new bits
