Can I use these clocks ?

Hi all,
pondering the purchase of some dash dials (pictured) - speedo (left) and rev - and wondering if they will talk happily to an '88 Mayfair.
All and any advice much appreciated.

It depends what sort of engine they have been in before as far as I know, for instance if it has been a 1300 and you're putting them into a 998 then the speedo will be calibrated differently as it's a different speedo drive. So the speed will be wrong.

Bear with me on that response as it's been a good few years since I've done anything with my Mini apart from watch it rust on my driveway I'm sure someone will be along in a minute to give you a definitive answer!

They dont look like they ever came from a mini. It is probably posible to fit them but not easy (could be fun).
