OK, its is nearly time to start preparing my mini for paint and me being the kind of guy I am I would like to save on time whilst prepping the paintwork.

Has anybody got any suggestions on a good sander and where to buy?

Thanks in advance

for small jobies I use a Clarke sander which I got from Machine Mart for bout £15 ish.

for larger jobies like full body prep I use a DA Sander via a huge compressor smile

A DA sander is a air compressor fed sander which used by body shops as they are quicker and have a larger pad so more work for less time etc

grade wise proper smooth but I dunno what grade (I will have ot check), you would of thought that they would not do much as they are so smooth but they certainly get down to bare metal quickly smile
