Hi Everyone, I have a 2000 cooper sport classic, and rather stuipidly I left the lights on the other night, after being late for work, lots of pushing and jump leads later I got her started again, but now the stereo is not working, 1st it told me to enter the code which i did and it is just saying 'code wait' and won't do anything else..... has this happend to any one before? any ideas or help, would be great, cheers Marc

Had the same problem with the radio/cassette in our 98 Cooper. Everytime you enter a wrong code the time needed before you can retry goes up exponentially!! Eventually it takes so long you might as well get a new one.

The code for ours was imprinted on a metal tag on the keyring.

Not sure this helps...you may also be able to get the code from some websites if you can quote the serial number...have a hunt around on google.
