Ace Café Mods'n Minis Italian Job Charity Night 4th September 2008

Last year's Ace Café Italian Job Charity Night was a huge success, the best one so far, with a total raised for The Italian Job (www.italianjob.com) of £3,450.00 through the auction and raffle on the night. Last year's supported charity was NCH (www.nch.org.uk).

Many thanks to all the companies and individuals who donated items to be auctioned or raffled. Without you it would not be such a great success. Many companies have supported us since the first charity night at The Ace in 2003.

This year's event will take place on the eveningThursday 4th September 2008 at approx 8pm and we would love to match, and possibly beat, last year's total, but we can't do it without your help and generosity.

This year the money raised will be split between two charities, The Italian Job supported charity for 2008, which is Kidsout (www.kidsout.org.uk) and, with the agreement of The Italian Job organisers, the Brain Tumour Trust, specifically the Jodie Adams Fund, see http://www.braintumourtrust.co.uk/JodieAdams.htm. This is a charity that I personally support as Jodie grew up with my children and our families have been close for many, many years.

Minis travel from all over the country to attend the monthly Mod-n-Minis nights on the first Thursday of every month, the September event is now established as one not to be missed. See www.ace-cafe-london.com for information and directions to the Ace.

MiniWorld magazine will be sponsoring the event with their 'Car of the Night' award, a trophy which has been hotly contended in recent years. For the last five years the event has been featured in both MiniWorld and Mini Magazine.

Have a look a our website with the sponsors and auction items so far .

Come along on the night and join in the fun. Lots and lots of Minis and Mini people, good Ace Cafe food and drink, great music and a great atmosphere.
