Mini's - best place to buy a classic and engine options?

Can anyone recommend anywhere to buy a well looked after classic Mini, and also what engines it is possible to fit into the original Mini? I know the Metro is popular but is the any others, turbos in particular. And lastly, can anyone recomend a bodyshop to do such a conversion?
