....said in best dr evil manner - last week a work colleague waved the little white flag on a long dormant project so, sight unseen I agreed to buy the reamins from him for £100 - often dangerous but nothing ventured nothing gained - a little awkward to inspect whilst there as he was a little heartbroken to see it go, so hitched it up to trusty polo and hauled it home - the shell it mainly good bar the very very rotten oversills and a little bubbling at the top of one wing - but have just got in from a dusk inspection and

S brakes
kosher hilo's
spax's all round
playmini exhaust
an LCB - of unknown origin
mg metro lump / box & ancilliaries documented at 45K
cobra buckets
10" genuine (but scabby) minilites
front lucas spots
some curious but highly effective engine/ gearbox steadies
nearly new genuine rear subframe

and what pleases me most of all - a pristine rover bonnet - been looking long & hard for one...

Have a very broad grin... and will take off all the tasty bits for my project PDQ, as it's too good to scrap will replace the bits removed with spares from my supplies and sell on as a project.... will still be dripping with goodies - the cobra's are staying in it - personally hate them - has all mounts for 4 point harnesses and will come with a low mileage A+ 998, 8.4 discs, 12" minilites a non gen rear sub and RC40 - eventually!

Anyone need a project early next year....?

Think there's a few more toys to find too dizzy has an aldon sticker so we'll see - best bonus ever - honestly was only after a decent genuine bonnet as heritage aside - they're the only ones I can get to fit perfectly...... been pleased as a kid in a sweetshop all evening....
