I'm looking for some inspiration.

1071 with twin h4's (original downton), with alexander manifold (after someone nicked the downton manifold - grrrrr!!!)

Not particularly clean engine bay as it's been sat for a while. 1338 wearing a 48 IDA on a Maniflow manifold

One question about the ultimate engine steady - is it really needed, if so what for?

it stops the engine twisitng in the subframe, which in turn stops the exhaust manifold cracking etc.

very handy on a 1275 upwards

Thanks for that, is it a good idea to invest in one for my MG 1275? How does it fit?!

the washer bottle is a half litre unit from Somerfords & the Tudor sticker is from Minispares
