Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me Identify some pistons that are fitted into an engine ive been offered for sale. The engine is pretty much an unknown and very cheap.
Ive taken the cylinder head off and...
They are 73.5mm, approx a 7cc Dish and have the following markings..
"ID6 W08" stamped across the top of the piston crown
"STD" stamped across the bottom of the piston crown
Any help would be appreciated.
Mike

the only 'normal' mini piston thats a STD at 73.5 is the p20659 powermax, but that has a 9cc dish.
if you dont know the make you will probably struggle to match them up, knowing the ring sizes will help to try and find new ones, but not point to a individual piston type.
the 'ID6' number is probably just a date code, or plug code.
i guess you may have your work cut out!
