Hi all,

My '98 Mini Sportspack has a webasto roof that is starting to leak slightly when it rains heavily. Could anyone point me in the direction of a good car cover to get as the ones I've seen in Argos seem to be a bit too big. Thanks

Matt

I was given an old car cover a while ago and whilst it's too big for the mini, I've connected some bungee cords together, attached them to the cover on one side and slung them underneath to reconnect the other side. It holds it down tight and stops it flapping around !!

Here's a couple of covers specifically for the mini, but they're a bit pricey. Might be cheaper to get the sunroof fixed !!

Ebay might be worth a try as well ??

I brought an outdoor cover from wood n pickett, looks the same as the minispares link. Its lasted 1 and abit winters. the roof edges have almost disintegrated now, might be the extreme british weather its been subject to!

Thanks for the links, they are a bit pricey!

I spoke to Croydon Minis about the roof and he said I'd either have to have the headlining taken down a bit or possibly a new webasto roof which is likely to be very expensive. (he was quoting around £2k)

Might just have to get a cheap one from Argos or fleabay and tie it on somehow.
