I need a tyre that are hard wearing but still grip as the ones i have on the minute are yokohama A032. i have found that these grip well but wear out rather quick.
Any sugestions would be greatfully recieved.

What size wheels are you wanting tyres for? The A032's do tend to wear quickly, if your on 10s try some A008s or if they are 13s A539, all Yokohama. Neither tyre is as sticky or as soft as what you have on, but will last longer.

It's all a 'trade-off', grip versus wear.
The more grip you get,the quicket it will wear out.
For a 10" wheel, I have heard good things about the Dunlop D93, although I've not tried them. I usually use A008 for tarmac and a 'knobbly' for gravel, although for mixed surfaces I do find the Falken a good all-round tyre. However, all will wear out quickly if driven in a competitive manner.

the best 10" tyre i have found is the avon.

very very hard wearing, stiff sidewalls and superb grip once warm.

i was getting through two A008's or 32r's each race, six avons would last all season.......

I run the A539s 12" and last and grip are good. But not as much grip as the 032 I had on but I could finish a front set in one test day. When you change do all 4. There is such a diffrance in grip the car would be very hard to handle.

I've got dirt cheap Camac's on mine, done 30K on them and there's still plenty left in them. Grip well, even in the wet (some late brakers around here and they've done well!) They look pretty cool too, the tread goes slightly around the side wall.

I use A008's on my 10's and A539's when i run 12's

I had Camacs on the 10's when i first had them and didn't enjoy the experience, i hear they are often referred to as "hedge finders"

I've never had any problems with them, granted you get some yokos they will grip better, but for the every day drive they're good. Compared to my fiance's last mini with falkens on they're a nicer drive, just pretty stiff so you get thrown around more. But i do go for the 165s over 145s for the width
