Mini 50th Anniversary events?

Morning all,

I have friend who has a classic Mini, and was wondering is there a certain event for the anniversary or are there different ones?

I've found out that this is an event at Gaydon for a weekend to celebrate them, but nothing more than that.

I think MITP 09 on the 16th August and Stanford Hall 13th September are the main shows left this year.

IMM's gearing up to be the biggest because it includes a lot of international Mini's but it's also the most expensive by a long shot.

Hi Guys

Just to also let you know the Wirral Mini Club is organising a celebration of Mini,s during the Oulton Park Gold Cup Bank Holiday weekend at the end of august. Its on the sunday and monday and I believe that there will also be a parade lap of all Mini,s on one of the days.Also I believe it is free to get in for Mini and driver.Wirral Mini club will be shortly sending out details of how to obtain a pass. This should be a great weekend with not only lots of Mini,s on show but also some great racing on the track. Lets hope the weather is good. Keep an eye out for it advertised in the Magazine and the Wirral Mini club website.
