I visited Goodwood yesterday for the Top Hats classic saloon car practise day and I found this lurking in the pits

I've seen most mini based kit cars over the years but I could not place my finger on what this was! Can you help oh PH mini massive?

Here's a nice picture of the two immaculate Swiftune prepared Minis at play

She was running a webber and they certainly ttake up some space on a standard mini, so it must be quite a mission to fit one in that!!

It's certainly an external hinge door in the second picture. You can see the sliding windows.

The Dart was the prototype made by Dizzy Addicot (Dizzy Addicot Racing Team) that spawned the Mini Jem and was allegedly copied to make the Mini Marcos.
I had a Jem for many years (see profile pic), great fun car that could be made to go license losingly quick! biggrin

the original dart was exported to japan many years.

this one is either the fake that was built in the mid 1990's and touted around as the original by the builder and the people daft enough to buy it from him (though is was unpainted and a rusty half finished mess for years), or a newly built example built to race at goodwood.

its based on a mini van
