Finally got round to fixing my overheating issue (faulty fan switch), dusted the mini off and took it for a drive with my cousin.
Photo below shamelessly stolen from him! ( pixel-snapper )

Did about 70 miles without a hitch, including some time spent over 6,000rpm in 4th gear... driving

Looking good smile sounds like a good machine too. Its frost again here tonight(DK), so there is NO way I am taking my car out yet, as they still drive around, with the horrible salt spredders in the night time.

I like the cooper on your website. Can you actually tell the difference with the kad components on the rear suspension? I've always been tempted, but put off by the high cost vs unknown benefit. The only kad item on my car is the later type gearshift with lift up collar reverse!

well I am not really the one to ask, as I am only using the car for a little Hillclimb now and then,

but its VERY good on the brakes, and it does take the corners VERY well, but I am no Sterling Moss,

I think a full time race driver, would probably get more benefit from these components.

It is very light with these items, I did not check the 0 to 60 time, before I put on the radius arms,

and rear alloy hubs on, but compared with my green road Mini, the white is much more "nimble" and easy

to throw around the corners. The reason for these components, is to take the "unsprung" weight down

to a minimum, so the wheel keep contact with the tarmac, and as these items are SO light, it will

make a difference on a timed lap, between one with, and one without, as a beginner like me can feel

the changes.

Hi again, now it was our turn to go out in the good weathersmile they had a 50 year birthday party in Copenhagen, at the Town Hall square, more than 80 cars turned up, and it was broadcast on
national TV 1, but the idiot reporters said that a Lord Leonard was the designer of the carfrown how stupid can you be?? and the 2 pillocks they were talking to didnt get ANY facts rightfrown but it was a nice day with good weather, and the car drove perfect all the way.-------------------naaa not good frown next day the fuel pump had packed infrown could smell gasoline the minut I opened the door for the workshop, so I then lifted the frontend up, on a pair of stands, to stop the petrol dripping. Now she is waiting for a new pump.
