I had a Honda S2000 so this appeals as it uses the B20 Vtec motor with 240 BHP out of the box.

4WD just makes it a bit more interesting.

- always wanted a Twini (twin engined), the orginals using A series engines were darn quick, but just think of a Honda VTec Twini - 4WD and over 500BHP on tap.......

One that doesn't rust winktongue out

Seriously, for me I think it would have to be a Mini. If you want different engines then might we well go for a kit car IMO.

So a Clubman 1257GT front in brown or green with gold 12" minilite wheels. Roll cage, nice bucket seats and trim, nice sounding/looking exhaust, semi slick tyres and a 1380cc motor with maybe FI but is not n/a aim for min 120hp. Suspension and brakes to suit. smile

My Mini project should be pretty decent if it turns out how I envisage it:

Bright red Mini pickup with a 1380 turbo engine. 7" wide rims, sportspack arches, chrome.

It's a long way from being finished though and may well end up with a 1275 engine initially whilst the turbo engine is rebuilt.

I always hankered after a Clumban 1275GT with something obscene shoe-horned under the bonnet. Would probably soil myself in ecstasy at the thought of a K series / V Tec or similar. Although...straight 6 BMW engine...I wonder??? redface) Could even cope with a bored out A series, twin webbers and a 5 speed box.

Simple single box exhaust, sans dustbin can on the back...no need.

Then of course it would be group 5 arches or wider (depends how much b*stardisation at the front end for the engine), disc brakes all round. Nice & simple mini-lite alloys shod in Michelin's if possible.

Inside - lashings of black leather on the door cards and dash, centre binnacle, corking great rpm counter on the steering column, bucket seats and the world's most go-kart-esqe steering wheel to steer it all with.

Oh well, back to my BMW diesel estate it is...

This car, weighing, say, 600 - 650kgs:

With this engine giving 130 - 150bhp:

In this colour combination:

With these wheels (in black of course):

Built to the highest standard I can achieve smile
With MPi gearing for comfortable A road/motorway performance, revving to 6500rpm, 130mph should be achieveable.

For years now ive been making mine a road going mini migla replica and its nearing completion, its quick but uncivilised. But i'm hackering after a fairly standard 998 to blast around in. Something nice and simple. Mild state of tune, very tidy looks, narrow wheels but good tyres, sorted suspension. Keep it for a few years until my son can drive.

Cooper1999, can you tell me more about that "gizmo" hung off the end of your Bini Blower? That looks like a very very very good idea.
