Hello all,
I'm in need of a rear subframe for a 1980 car.
My question is are all the (dry) rear subframes the same, with the exception of the exhaust hanger?
f so, it looks to me that the hanger would come off pretty quick...

Yep, two part numbers for rear sub frames, one with exhaust hangers one without, but interchangeable if you fit exhaust hangers to the earlier ones.

Only for dry suspension cars though smile

technically there is three part numbers for bare genuine frames,

1) no hangers

2) with hangers

3) reinforced with hangers (some of the last sportspacks had them)

Rich, are the reinforced subframes seam welded?

no, they have little tags welded from the round bit where the rubber cones go.

not a huge difference to the std ones.

Ah!! In my SC Parts cat, they only show two, 216327 and 343524, doesn't mention a third.
