Hi All.
Have a Freelander 2 Auto and even driving gently only seem to get 30mpg, car is an 07 plate with 89K and full Landrover history.
Is this normal?
(I always get the published combined mileage manufacturers publish btw)

Agreed, 28`s are about right.
I always check the MPG on the ones we get in for service and the auto`s are always around this figure.

Yup, TD4 Auto. On a m/way cruise at 75+ it shows 36+. Recon the trip is about 10% over optimistic.....

What fuel do you use?
Friend has a D3 tdv6 and found that with shell he was getting 2mpg more than morrison's diesel.
Has it been serviced properly recently?

Did a light service on my freeby and found that some filters had been missed, so changed them and im now waiting to see how the engine responds when its done a few miles, already smoking less on start up hehe

SD4 auto and I see about 34.5mpg by calculations from brimming the tank. The onboard computer consistently over-reads and claims 36.5mpg.

I run Shell Optimax, have for 13000 miles. Much quieter, never any smoke....
