i had revving problem on my 4.6 v8 so i cut the cats out. my god that sorted it and am i glad i got a petrol v8 it goes fantastic. looking at the engine side of the cats its like they were melted no wonder the engine couldnt rev

oh yes forgot to mention that i have lpg therefore not required for mot

Vehicle will be tested according to its age regardless of the fuel its presented on.
Your P38 will have to be under the specifed limits as though the cats were still fitted.
My 1986 RRC sails through on either.

FYI: Rimmer Brothers do a Stainless Steel sports exhaust which has less restrictive Cats. I have one on my P38 4.6 and I did notice the difference when I first put it on (several years now).
