Evening all, staked my claim to this today! It has been the 'loan car' for Marcos Hertitage for as long as I can remember and whever I was in for a service I always asked them to give me first refusal if they ever wanted to part with it. Now it's mine smile

1986, was born with a normally aspirated diesel but has had a 200Tdi retrofitted as well as a new gearbox. Various bits and bobs to keep it looking tidy as MH are also a LR/RR specialist. It's been halfway to the moon but it won't have too hard a life with me, looking forward to owning it as always loved being lent it! I'm sure I will have questions at some point, but picture below for now.

Cheers,

lewis

Just under £4k. It's a car I've known for years so I'm comfortable with that as I know it's been looked after.

Looks in great nick for £4k! How's the chassis and bulkhead?

Personally, I think Defenders look better on steel wheels though getmecoat

Agreed, those or Boost alloys, and that's about it.
Nice looking truck though, and sounds like a bargain!
What did it start life as though? Interesting that it's got lashing lugs down either side of the rear tub, suggesting it began life as a rag-top/pick-up.

That's ok, this is a Ninety, not a Defender wink

Good spot, I'll ask the question! It's had an interesting life and I know they have hacked it about to change and improve it as time goes on, adding bits from other Landys they've had in. Chassis I am assured is fine but I will ask again. I will insist we do a deal for servicing and warranty-type work, they have restored my Lotus and Marcos over many years so I am a very good customer of theirs, they wouldn't sell me a lemon.
