A mate asked me if a Defender 90 would make a good daily driver, I'm not convinced but haven't driven one for years so maybe not qualified to answer. He is going to test drive one to see what he thinks, it will be a reasonably modern one.

As long as they dont mind driving with their arm out the window - even when its raining.

What sort of journeys will he be making? Wouldn't want to commute from London to Manchester every day in one but for 20 miles or so on A and B roads it will be fine

A 20-30ml commute, A road & M-Way.

He'll love it or hate it. Personally I'd love to commute in a modern Defender.
