wing mirrors

I have a range rover vogue 2004 and my folding winf mirrors dont function properly. When the button is pressed they fold in fully but immediately the go back out again. I posted on here before about this and I was told to take the mirrors apart and look at the microswitches. Well its defo not them considering there isnt any. The mirror unit is made up of a little servo motor and gearing arrangement. I am thinking that there is a card or little magic box somewhere that controls the movement of the mirrors and that perhaps it is not working as it should.
Has anyone had any experience of this???

Mine do something similar on my D2, I got told to just press and let go quickly, dont hold it it down.
Works every time now....
