How hard can it be to change a bloody bulb !!

I have two jobs to do this afternoon, change the MAF sensor and passenger side headlight bulb on a facelift series 2 disco. The MAF sensor took about 2 minutes, an hour in I'm still no closer to getting the new bulb in and everything keeps bloody breaking. Why are consumables such a massive pain in the arse to change !!!!!

Shouldn't take too long with the bulb...

Unscrew the 3x plastic clips which hold the grille in place.
Unscrew the 3x screws holding the entire lamp unit in place.

Lamp assy should come away in your hands, unplug & change the lamp.

Refitting is the reverse. Should be no more than approx 5 mins.

when I did it, it was quite easy, I made the mistake of trying to follow the Haynes manual.
