Hi all,

I need to find a decent independent to look after my parents FFRR and to carry out some work on my 2.8i Defender, preferably in the locale of either Reigate or Norwich.

Had some terrible experiences with main dealers, and suffered some big bills and poor workmanship from a few independents, and although I have a friend with an independent LR garage it's not very convenient and I feel guilty about him never taking any money from me!

Any suggestions and experiences shared would be greatly appreciated!

When I had my Defenders I used Challenger 4x4 in Aldershot and my father still sends his Shogun to the (they are Landy people)

For the RRSS you could try Guava Landover outside Guildford. I think they are export specialist but also do landrover servicing.

Thanks, it's a fun piece of kit! Sadly needs a bit of TLC to return it to its former glory... Faded, flaky paint is making it look a bit sad at the moment. All will be sorted soon though!
