Ordered a 2012 MY which should be due with me late November with any luck.

I have had to order based on the options from the 2011 brochure / current website as I cannot get details of any new options from Land Rover.

They have said they should have brochures in October now but I am a little worried that my car may already be in production and that I could lose out on some spec (although I'm not expecting much difference by way of additional options other than has already been reported as standard).

I have currently ordered;

Hse
Sumatra Black
Privacy Gass
Auto High Beam Assist
Grand Black Interior Trim
Ivory Leather with Black Stitch
iPod lead
Diamond Turn Alloys

I am considering changing the diamond turn to standard (saving money) to then add Overfinch Olympus 22's...

Also considering black interior with a contrast stitch - any thoughts?

Any ideas on gaining option details for the 2012 now and opinions on wheel upgrades welcome.

Dual view screen is now available on the RRS and I would consider adding this and the newly enhanced rear seat entertainment to get the DVD drive.

NB: I do not believe it is possible to get the DVD changer anymore on the RRS.

Are you really sure you want the 22's?

My car rides better on a set of 19's I use over the winter compared to the 20's it usually wears

I couldnt imagine fitting bigger than that
Needless to say youd kerb them mercilessly too

I had 22's on my old 2007 RRS with no kerbing or other issues at all. To be honest I only do about 3000 miles a year and tend to wash / wax my cars more than drive them...

im just about to order a 2012 RR and have omitted the rear entertainment. I have it on my present Vogue SE and have never ever used it. The kids take their laptop and headphones instead so i think it is a waste of money.

Thanks Cayman - already on rrsport.co.uk smile

I cant imagine ever having a need to use the dual screen although would be a nice 'toy'. I ammended my current order yesterday to;

2012 Range Rover Sport HSE
Sumatra Black
Alloys Wheels – 20” Standards (to be replaced with Overfinch Olympus)
Privacy Glass
Auto High Beam Assist
Interior Trim – Grand Black Lacquer
Premium Leather – Ivory Leather with Ebony Contrast Stitch
Premium Carpet Mats
Dark Atlas Front Grille
Dark Atlas Tailgate Finish

Clorenzen - after calling literally 16 dealers I managed to get 10.7% off (£6000) - PM me if you need details.

I have just found the new 2012 autobigraphy wheel (style 10) and supercharged (style 9) which look rather nice and are 20'2 so this may well be the way to go - also I would hope less 'street' than overfinch being LR original products.

Just had a price from my local dealer whih is fine - anyone have any pictures with these on a car?

IMO the old one is better looking. It really is a lovely wheel.

That is lovely - that was my original choice but I started to think as I'm buying the 'latest' car I should have the most up to date wheel....

That said I really need to see them in the flesh and have also started thinking again that maybe 22" may look better??

I've also decided to change interior to black with contrast stitch and am toying with the idea of Orkney Grey exterior rather than Black.... Decisions, decisions...

Thanks Cayman - decided to stick with Black Exterior - just need to decide whether to go 20" Autobiography wheels (same as yours) or see whether there is a 22" I can find that is'nt too 'chavvy'..

Did I see you bought a new RRV? If so, how is it?

No. I have a RRSAutobiography, that i bought from LPR in march. As for 22" wheels have you seen the revere ones? Lovely and classy.

Just taken delivery of a MY11 AB (ordered 7 months ago), ready to swap in 2 months time for a MY12. 20" wheels look great, although on a black car do look a bit small unless the car is in access height.
