Our 2007 Freelander 2 is nearing the end of it`s 12 months Land Rover warranty from when we bought it . I`m considering the LR extended warranty , but as the car has only 28000 miles and running really well , I`m also considering not bothering and saving £460 .
It`s soon time for 4 new tyres too ; has anyone any practical recommendations ? It`s on Michelin , but Pirelli and Continental more competative on price .

Thanks

Take a look at General UHP for a direct replacement for your Michelin's on the road but also well worth a look is the General AT if you need a better all round tyre.

I have been looking at Tyres for my wifes FL2, the most competative 'major' branded tyre I found for her car which is on 17 inch rims was Good Year Wranglers from Kwik fit if bought on line.

It is currently running on these as its original factory fit tyres.
