Good evening all.

Just in the process of removing the body from my Defender 90 to weld and repair (or replace if it's too bad). Just wondering what size bolts I'll neet to replace the body as the existing ones are likely to snap!! Also, as the car gets quite a bashing off road, am I better to stick with galvo bolts rather than stainless (which are more brittle)? Has anyone got any spare knuckle skin for sale? smile

I've just looked at there site and they want £550 for a Defender bolt set - sounds a bit steep!! I think I may settle for BZP bolts as I appear to need loads of M8x25 and these are readily available on the 'bay'! I think I've found all the bolts which fix the rear tub to the chassis now I've removed enough mud!!

I always get my fixings from screwfix direct. They don't actually do M8x25 though but M8x30 will do just as well.
