Selling Landy - decent Landy dealers in North Oxfordshire?

Looking to sell my Landy but being new to the area I'm not familiar with the local used car market so was wondering if anyone knew of any dealers reasonably local to Oxford? Looked online but can't see any other than franchised dealers who don't seem interested unless I'm trading it in and the thought of tyre kickers holds limited appeal?

West Oxford Motor Auction it probably one of your closest. Either that or Brightwells do a 4x4 specific auction every Tues.

Sell privately - limited 'tyre kicker' issues as it's not a 'performance' car. The price you achieve will be higher.
I wanted to sell my Defender, I took it to a local dealer, but they offered £4K below what it was worth - and told me I'd do better selling privately (particularly at this time of year).

I stuck an advert on here in the Classifieds and one week later sold the Defender to a very nice chap who wanted the car and was prepared to pay what it was worth. Bank transfer took place prior to delivery, after I sent scanned copies of the V5 and proof of my identity etc.

It was a much more painless experience than I had perhaps anticipated - and a far better deal for both of us. I got what I wanted; he got the car at a fair price, minus the dealer mark-up.
