Heated seats help req

I`ve just had the same problem on mine. The heater element is either broken or has a split wire and it`s tripping out.
My LR indie garage in Preston, took the seat apart on mine and repaired it as the element is stitched into the leather on models up to 06 (mines a 55 so missed it by a few months!) only the newer models have the heater element separate.
If you need a new element you`ll have to pay for the new leather too!! Only LR would do something like this!
The cost for the kit was approx £380+vat for our seats, the newer ones cost only £28+ vat.
Expect to pay in the region of £350+ by the time the seat is taken apart, fixed then stitched back together though :-( but better than paying more than double for a replacement.
