Land Rover Defender/90: heater problem
Discussion
I have a problem with my 1989 Defender (which is 'technically a 90).
1. The heater blower fan is blowing good and strong but only cold air.
2. I have changed the thermostat.
3. Temp gauge sits bang in the middle, but cannot work out why I cannot get any hot air.
Any ideas as I am stumped?
I know the heaters in 23 year old Landies are never very good, but I am chilling my balls off in the current climate.

Let me know how you get on - I'll probably be changing my matrix in the near future!
On a similar note, a friend of mine bought a car a few years ago cheap as the heater didn't work. The previous owners had spent a lot of time and money trying to fix it as it wouldn't demist properly in the winter. By absolute luck, I found out withing 5 minutes of looking at it that the hot/cold cable had become disconnected at the heater end which was a 5 minute fix. Made my day
