We've just a deposit down on a L322 Vogue 4.4 V8 and hopefully pick it up next weekend. Our P38 was sold just over a year ago and we've had a mix of vehicles in between but looking forward to it. It's a 2nd or even 3rd car and needs a few minor (hopefully) things sorting out. It's a 2002 in dark blue - not sure of exact shade, with cream leather.

Similar to mine then but mine is a 54 plate. The dark blue and cream is a beautiful combination.
All I did to mine was to add a bluetooth module from BMW, a MKvi sat nav from a BMW and a set if new mats from ebay and its fantastic.

If it hasn't done already get the gearbox oil swapped. My gbox went pop at 72k miles frown

I've just gone 7 years without a Range, bought a P38 a couple of days ago.
Had one brand new in 99, 13 years later I own a 98 !
Will probably only use it once a week for towing.

i'd agree

ref the wheels it seems you may be in the minority as i have five (20") as above, that are in very good condition but going to the scrapyard next week as nobody wants to buy them?

did not think £50 each was exactly expensive when i recall they are about £600 each from dealers?

Oslo Blue is the colour, as my freeby is the same colour.

How did you managed to get it for under £7k? What's the mileage?

It's a V8. Idiots buy the diesels, market therefore hates the V8s. Plus, don't forget the earliest L322s are a decade old now... market forces dictate they're stupidly cheap - they've been well under 10k for a long time now.

As RL says they are out there if you look. Admittedly not many at sub £7k and it needs a few brave pills to buy a cheap one knowing it needs a couple of things sorting. I think this was the only one at sub 7 within 40 miles on AT. 150k on the clock but drives sweet as a nut. Very little history but one long owner and latest for a brief period and the previous owner addresses suggests decent enough care.

Wow, you must be either mad or have a lifetime supply of brave pills. hehe

Any other issues with it, are you going to give it a full service and change the fluids to be safe or throw caution to the wind.

I simply couldn't MTFU enough to do it. It would take my wallet and brutally rape it, repeatedly. hehe

It had an oil service last month. The only other service related work to do imminently is an atf flush and change and 2 x lambda sensors to fit and job done.

That is a lot of Land Rover for the money. I see P38s at £5k, so you have done well smile

Fantastic colour. The L322 has brilliant road presence smile
