Identify this 90 interior part.

My friend has a 2011 90 in county spec with rear seats.

He removed one of the rear seats last year for extra space. Tonight we re-fitted the seat but in his bag of fixings we were left with these two items. We are not convinced they are related to the seats and think they may be from elsewhere in the cabin. Seat reinstalled works fine. He cannot remember.

Any ideas or help appreciated.

I may be wrong but are these not ghe springs that hold the seat up when not used ?

Interesting. Do the seats spring up to the stowed position when not in use? His were held up only by the strap.

Not "held up" by the springs but probably sprung loaded.

That's lucky; mystery objects in my LR are invariably coated in either rust, decade-old boiled sweet residue, or a mixture of EP90 and mud.
