facelift 'conversion' - AGEAS decline insurance
Discussion
what a load of rubbish
i declared all mods and got my insurance through a broker - they pointed me to AEGAS
i then told said broker that i was adding 2009 bumper/grill/lights
AGEAS declined the mods
wtf - does not make it faster - purely cosmetic????
gets even better - rang AGEAS - will not talk to me!!!!!

Yeeeessss... IMO - It's one of the problems of shopping around for cheap insurance deals. Great if you have a completely 'standard' car but as soon as anything changes, you're knackered!
Personally, I use NFU. Not always the cheapest but fantastic service & they really know the Landy market.

well the matter is resolved - Ageas simply refused to insure the car with the facelift - no ifs/buts and despite the broker telling them it was only a 'year' update not a 'body kit' they would not change their stance and refused to insure me!
the broker has done a sterling job and sourced new insurance with 'facelift' actually cheaper than Ageas!
forum watchers will note i have removed two posts and edited others - because in the heat of the moment i said things i should not have said - my apologies to all concerned
so beware of Ageas if you even think of changing to even LED lights etc - they will not tolerate any deviation from 'standard'
though what is 'standard' came up in conversations with my broker - unless you have the vehicle build sheet you do not know what is standard??

I'm toying with the idea of fitting a smaller pulley to my Supercharger and getting a DMS re-map. I think I will check first though!
The thought of nearly 500bhp is very tempting though
i'd just say be very careful - insurers hate 'performance mods' - tell them everything to be on the safe sideThe thought of nearly 500bhp is very tempting though
