Just got home with my spanking new '96 Discovery 1, and already got a list as long as my leg of things I want to do to it smash

Top of the list is a full retrim, so new seats, dash and sort the saggy roof trim, but being a bit of a noob I haven't got a clue where to go.

Can anyone suggest a good place to go? Somewhere near to Aylesbury, Bucks if possible biggrin

quite like some sort of bespoke quilted seats or something a bit more plush than standard landie spec.

Also if anyone can recommend somewhere good to get mechanical work done in the area, that would be a great help.

Cheers for any help smile

It'd have to be a pretty solid, low mileage and mechanically perfect and totally rust free wagon to justify spending on a new interior.

thankfully its pretty rust free and mechanically very good, had literally thousands spent on it. Only downside is its got 170k. But for a 300 thats surely nothing?..

'seat surgeon' seems to get good reviews on most LR forums, not sure of the pricing.

If you get stuck for bits I have quite a few for spares.

What you want to do sounds very costly on a vehicle of that value.

If I were you I would source good secondhand items-a leather interior off a high spec model if necessary, and clean it up to within an inch of its life(in the past Ive sponged and brushed fabric landy seats with hot water with washing powder in it before hosing it off and leaving to dry in the sun on a hot day)
