This has now been postponed until 10th August due to wet ground
I'm gutted about this. The OH had taken time off work to come with me for the July date. Looks like I will be going on my own on the Friday now

If I decide to brave the off road coarse, I'm hoping to blag a marshall to show me round!
Just back, fantastic weather but mixed feelings about the show. Plenty of missing trade stands and it was fairly quiet for Billing, but good to see some familiar faces although I think we were camping amongst the s
t. Our neighbour was obviously pregnant, was drinking all day and smoking all day too & had a terrible cough that kept me awake for the first night. Second night there was a fight outside the tent at half 2 in the morning; too many larger louts and not enough brain cells. It took a 73yr old to tell them off, security seemed to take forever... I don't think many people were actually interested in Land Rovers at all, just an excuse for a pissup. Couldn't believe my ears most of the time, parents f'ing and blinding infront of their kids/toddlers.
However, there were also plenty of decent, friendly people who had a genuine interest in LR's and just wanted to chat all day! Plenty of photos and some videos of the mud run. Will post them here for you to have a look once I have uploaded them. Gutted that Devon4x4 & Twisted performance weren't there. Also, no tyre fitting companies & for some odd reason, no Bowler Wildcats.
ETA: Almost forgot, stumbled into the PT Cruiser club! What a cracking bunch they were! I even had a shot of sambuca from the back of a 'cocktail bar' in the boot
