It's that time of year again... Morning temperatures have dropped below 5c, so I'll answer the question before you even knew you wanted to ask it.

That 'smoke' you can see coming out from the NSF wheel arch, is actually exhaust gas coming from your Webasto heater. You may not even be aware that you have a Webasto heater fitted but a lot of D3, D4, RR & RRS come fitted with them as standard, to help warm the engines quicker in winter.

It is completely normal and nothing to worry about. biggrin

My Defender does that.

Thanks for the reminder....I really ought to get my leak fixed....(leak into driver's side footwell in heavy rain).

Can't tell if serious? smile

When car stationary and its P*ssing down, driver's side footwell fills with water....I've worked out where it is coming from (I think) but without photos would struggle to explain....

Mine inwardly vents wink at the seam between the windscreen and the bulkhead. Utterly crap porous spongey seal there, oh and the top of the A-post, AND down the bulkhead and in through the throttle pedal.

Land Rover have a manual for tracing & diagnosing body work leaks. You should be able to find it with a quick Google.

So I don't mind it per se....just that in winter it means more moisture in car and more chance of frozen (on the insides) windows....and I'm not sure it's doing the floor much good getting so wet smile
