Disco 3 headlamp bulb change

I find this a real pain getting access....any tips? Have been told to unclip the grill, did this but could not see how access was improved any. Been taking the air box out etc, which is OK for the driver side but not for the passenger side!


It also seems to lead to prob with the electrics, blowing a thermal fuse or something meaning headlamps won't work for a While afterwards...just weird!

Have you checked the manual?

IIRC - You remove the grill, slide up a retaining clip and the headlamp unit should pretty much fall out.

as above - the whole light unit will come out. Grill does need to come off but its easy to do.
