Freelander 2 weird tyre sizes
Discussion
If you want to try different tyre sizes you can feed the sizes that are available into this calculator. link
If you know the exact offset it would help, Freelander 2 is 35 to 50.
So for example a change from 215/75 - 16 to 225/70 - 16 would fit imo, and only give a 1% difference in rolling circumference, i.e. speedo read 1% fast, at true 60 speedo would read 60.62.
That 225/70 size is available in a good choice of winters, the only ones that seem to be available in the original size are all weather, eg Conti Cross Contact, or Goodyear Wrangler All Weather.

No problem to fit 225/75x16 or 235/70x16, no rubbing and a huge choice of rubber.
We did 16" wheels and 235/70x16 Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme's on Friday, great fit.
Cheers Andy, I sent you an email this week. Have you still got that set of 16" alloys in your website for sale?We did 16" wheels and 235/70x16 Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme's on Friday, great fit.
