New FFRR question

Does anyone know if there's a waiting list for the new RR? I know they're 'on sale' now but any ideas when expected deliveries will be.

I've been offered one for a March delivery but will probably not keep it long and if there was a high demand still towards the end of the year I'd be tempted to splash out if depreciation wasn't going to be too bad.

The Evoque seemed to fair well with resale but just wondering what peoples thoughts will be with the new RR? If it's anything like the current RR then I'll steer well clear!

IIRC - Any new orders now probably won't be delivered until 2014.

I'd guess that the laws of supply & demand could well work in your favour on this one.

Do you know how definite that is - as in next deliveries wont be til 2014, or is that just speculation?

The easy way is to give a couple of dealers a call and ask them what the lead time is.

Just have, and exactly as you say "sometime early 2014" was the response.

We have around 35 Pre orders for the car with the first deliveries to customers commencing end of March. We don't reckon LR will even give us 30 cars for the year so were now quoting June 2014

Do you mean those pre-orders will be Jun 14? Or is that any orders above those 35 will be next year?

We've got 89 deposits and are looking well into 2014.

It all depends on how many cars LR will allocate us though which we don't know yet...
