Series III Drivetrain
Discussion
I've been reading up on Series Land Rovers, i'm looking to buy a series III early next year as a project. Plan would be galvanised chassis and 200di, fitting the engine without the turbo would obviously put less strain on the drivetrain but is there any common modifications that are an easy swap and would make it more robust? Seems like most people stick with original parts.

What do you want to use it for? Unless you are doing some serious off roading on big mud terrains, or trying to powerslide it on the road then the standard parts while made of chocolate will likely be fine.If I'm honest I can't see the point in fitting a Tdi witout the turbo, you'd be better off LPG'ing the petrol 2.25
