Existing Range Rover model depreciation??
Discussion
I quite fancy a Range Rover, just looking at buying maybe a 2008 / 2009ish model.
However I know the new model is being shipped in 2013.
Do you think this will affect the price of the existing Range Rovers once these start shipping?
Once people are taking delivery of their new Rangies, will the market for the older style Rangies drop and also there will be more examples for sale?
Just wondering what people's opinions are. I had exactly this with my Porsche (although I think the model went out of fashion a bit too, but the depreciation was terrible just after the new model was released!)
Good to know what you think..

The new model RR is around £20k more expensive than the equivalent existing model so this will slow the depreciation of the existing model. Even at 3 years old I expect the dealers to be pricing the new model around £50k dependent on model, mileage etc. Bentley like pricing and depreciatin is what LR are striving for with the new RR.
08's and 09's already worth quite a bit less than 10's because of the facelift. New 12's being offered with tidy discounts which may push down on older examples. People with the money are going to want the new one because it's moved the whole thing on so much. Late L322's should be a bargain.
