electrochromatic mirror glass - shock at price!

car is 2005/6 RR Vogue

drivers side mirror glass is 'breaking down' - bits of 'circuit' showing

its very distracting - heating function still works

best price i could get from main dealer inc fitting (about 5 minutes) is £150 plus VAT!!!

'independents' wanted more for supply only?

this is the glass ONLY!!

so being fitted Friday

looked on fleabay 99% of sellers cannot provide enough info to make me risk buying on 'chance' that it fits

fitted this morning

price was high but it was irritating the hell out of me

also again had to get the rear washer 'unblocked' despite a new bottle fitted about 8 months ago - seems to be a design flaw and the new car has the same arrangement!!
