I've got a fuel leak in my series 2a and suspect it's the tank. I've just looked at the Paddock Spares website and they list two types: a front fill and a military underseat type.
When I bought the Landy a few years back I was told it was ex-military from Ireland, but I don't know for sure if this is true and even then does it mean it automatically has the military tank?
So what am I looking for before I order it? The neck of the filler is just behind the drivers door and is about 2in wide, is that a clue? Cheers.

If its a filler behind the drivers door then it would be a civvy one..

From my time driving RAF Land Rovers they had twin tank underseat fillers..

If you are after a standard behind the door filler tank I have one kicking around in the garage. Yours if needed..

I am near Tonbridge so not far from you, I think..

Are you sure It's the tank and not the flexible filler neck?

I think it's the tank as it leaks all of the time, so below neck level I imagine?

Mark I am indeed near you as I'm in Sevenoaks. I'll email you.

Cheers Mark, tank painted and in. There was most definitely a hole in it, so thanks for the advice and the donation!
