Bought another Series Landy this afternoon, this time a Series IIa truck cab. It's a real survivor, one previous owner and only 70,000 miles from new. smile Can't wait to go and pick it up and show it off with my Disco V8 biggrin

Here's a couple of pics:

A proper Landie. What year is F? 1966/67?

Either way its 3 or 4 years older than me.

A neighbour of mine got one a few years ago. Superb things which growing up as I did in Northumberland in the 70s were once such a common sight.

Things like mycarcheck often say a car is 01/01/XX as all they know is that it's XX year. Happens a lot with imports too.

Thank you all smile

Car was collected safely on the 27th, I've been really ill these past few days so couldn't get anymore pics / updates frown OH had to drive the new Landy back as I had all on piloting the auto Disco, lol. Hopefully will be feeling a bit better tomorrow and able to drive again.

Current log book also says 1/1/68, though I do have the original buff log book that states it was applicable to some sort of 'farm vehicle' classification of tax. Will have to have a look and see if I can see a date on the only log book.

Still a fairly common sight around here. In Derbyshire there's a lot of Series Landies alive and well and being used as daily drivers biggrin

Vehicles with indeterminate first use are registered as 01/01/XX so that makes sense.
