got a face lift on my Range Rover 2006 spec

as any owner will tell you the front side lights are aweful

so, looking to replace with Led bulbs - Canbus error free

thought it would be simple but looking through fleabay has brought up literally thousands of conflicting options?

so can anyone please tell me the CORRECT ones to use?

thanks in anticipation

Ah ok.
Not been on for a couple of years.
I did have a look last night but got side tracked in the for sale section.

Check out the owners section of Landrover.com as I think the manuals are available as a .PDF.

hi

thanks but cannot find anything (may be me as i'm not exactly computer literate!!) - other links are to Topix which charges the earth!

asked my main dealer (Stratstone) with whom i have spent thousands in the last two years - got an email with illegible 'photocopy' of 2007 owners handbook - not at all impressed

if there was another option in Notts i'd tell Stratstone to 'do one'!

they care 'jack ste' about private owners especially of 'older cars' - but if your a 'business buyer' with an 'orange tart' on your arm they lick the floor clean before you walk in the showroom - and given i've spend an inordinate amount of time in the customer 'lounge' waiting for repairs this is a view shared by 90%+ of private owners!!

asked about an L405 - told there is one somewhere in the 'back yard' have a look! - no keys so only an outside look available!

you are 'judged' when you walk in the door - if you don't meet the 'look' of a potential buyer your literally ignored

well, Stratstone - i could buy a new L405 in a new colour for every day of the week if i was bothered!

this was the attitude of the old Sytners in Nottingham - my friend who is shall we say rather wealthy and owns a large plant hire company - some days he likes to 'drive' a machine - on the way home he stopped at Sytner (parked his car round the corner) to buy a car for his wife - given he was in 'work clothes' he was ignored - when he asked about a car the 'sales guy' basically said your wasting my time you cannot afford the car!

he walked out - fetched his car - Ferrari Testarossa - and parked outside - what a change in attitude!!

he told them bluntly to fk off!!

might go to Gordon Lamb in Chesterfield -any feedback?

i've only used them once to buy some seat covers but they always send me info on offers etc inc a test drive in the L405 (Stratstone invite must be lost in the post?) - as 'owner dealers' seems like a possibility?

will put a post in this forum asking advice

The 'Owners' section of TOPIX is free... wink

http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/vehicle/lo...

  • Select your model & age.
  • Select 'Owner' from the top RHS.
  • "Owner's Handbook" from the LHS
  • Finally, select the document you're after from the bottom.
I've just been on there and it has all the info you're after.
