TD6 gearbox info

can anyone tell me if the troublesome gearboxs on the RR TD6 were ever changed, if so from what year onwards?

I think the M57 BMW engine was used until end 2006

transmission changed from 5 speed to 6 speed after that with the 3.6TDV8 coming in

Iirc they were not

But, you can now get upgraded replacements
