Hi, can anyone help me out with the operation of the air suspension on a classic 94 ? I've just bought one and am not sure how this works. The car does lift after a minute or two, but I'm not sure what button does what? Any help is appreciated.

Also, rear lower tailgate won't open, common fault?

Does it go up?

Yes ?

Don't worry about the buttons, just be thankful it lifts !

Flash occasionally , generally if they are not lit it's a good thing.

You have 3 settings, 4 sort of.
Start up lifts to normal height. On your dash by your L knee are the controls - iirc the one on the L will lift the car to off road level. The button will light. It goes up like a camel so front and back separately. You can return to normal by pressing the R button. If you press the R one again this lights and drops to entry level.
As you go along once you have reached 55 mph for 30 secs or so the suspension drops a little for better aerodynamics (!). The down button will light when it does this.
Under your drivers seat is a switch to lock the suspension wherever it is. Use this for wheel changes etc and tell the garage if they don't know.
There is also a centre button - I think this will hold the suspension where it is until you tell it other wise or switch off. Also you often have to have the doors closed to perform these functions
Hope that helps

ETA mine's a soft dash so the buttons may be in a different place if yours isn't
