The propshaft bearing (rear) has decided to disintergrate and after removing the propshaft and vcu I have been driving around a bit with the car effectivey fwd.

Two questions

1. Am I doing any harm ?

2. The bearings seem to vary in price wildly anything from £25 to £75 are the cheap ones naff? can anyone recommend me some.

Thanks

Foundry 4x4, you want GKN bearings, should be round about £40ish.
I fitted them to my old one after being recommended them by various other freeby owners.

Then you just need a local garage to fit them. Mine was £80 to fit.

Those are OEM quality, don't fit anything else.
