freelander 2 cold starting

My wife's freelander 2 struggles to start on these cold mornings. My thoughts are the glow plugs. Any other suggestions? It is 2007 with 98k. 2.2d

My money would be on either glow plugs or battery.

Stick the battery on a charger, give it a full charge & see what happens. If that don't do it, I'd suspect the glow plugs.
