Bought a used FFRR TDV8, 57 reg from a large car supermarket dealer. They promised to rectify a fault as the airbag warning light had lit up. I asked them if they would have a LR dealer check this out as I didn't want the seller to just reset the light (lack of trust). They said that their service guys were perfectly qualified enough to take care of the fault properly. OK I said, but I don't want to be coming back if it's not fixed, I said. Driving to Cadwell Park at the weekend and after a while on the motorway at cruising speed there was a bing and the display said "suspension lowered". This then went out after a few short seconds, followed by 2 warning lights going on, the triangle in a circle (DSC) warning light plus the (!) Emergency brake assist warning light, bnoth in amber. Is this indicative of more serious problems such as possibly an auto levelling/stability issue. After switching the car off and restarting the warning lights go away, until I'm back at high speed cruising. Having all this following an airbag warning light issue is disconcerting to say the least. They've offered to have their workshop look at it again, but should I be demanding that they have it checked over by an authorised LR dealer now? Thank you in advance for any advice/suggestions.

It depends on what diagnostics kit they've got...

Chances are, you've got a faulty sensor somewhere. If they can read the fault codes and identify the fault using their kit, go for it. If not, I'd get it into a LR Main Dealer, who should be able to pinpoint the issue pretty quickly.

I've just had an airbag fault fixed in mine (07 TDV8), came on after about 30 mins of driving.

Traced to a faulty drivers seat airbag which was replaced. Took the dealer (main LR dealer) a morning to check and even then they weren't certain, it was just an educated guess. The system had stored a fault with a particular airbag but they didn't know if it was the airbag itself, the wiring, or something else.

Can't help with the other issues, not had them, yet!
